Neurodiversity as a concept, not only lacks research in the sport and exercise industry but is also often neglected in allied health and medical training. In comparison to normal populations, in is suggested sport attracts a high prevalence of neurodiverse competitors, particularly in elite and professional sport.

Understanding how neurodivergent athletes differ from typical athletes is essential to providing individually tailored and sport specific neuroaffirming interventions, as well as inclusive sport systems that facilitate performance health.

This webinar is an introduction to neurodiversity in sport suitable for coaches, allied health and medical practitioners.
